Taylor Townsend took to social media to share snippets of her latest photoshoot in a shimmery white bodycon jumpsuit on her birthday eve, right before the Madrid Open. She complemented her look with a loosely tied top bun and silver stilettos.

The former World No. 1 celebrated her 30th birthday in Atlanta on April 16, surrounded by close friends and family. The evening focused on the American star’s personal and professional milestones. Her manager, Patrice Horton, alongside Tori Williams’ events, came together to organise the party. Blue roses, chandeliers, and a grand piano came together to lend the event a royal and luxurious touch. As Townsend enters a new decade, the guests came forward to raise a toast to her remarkable growth on and off the court.

“Last of the pretty pics..before I get back to this tennis s**t✨💙” – Taylor Townsend captioned her latest IG post.

The 30-year-old was seen having a gala time, especially with her son, Adyn Aubrey Johnson, often called A.J. He rocked a black tuxedo with a black tie that complemented his mother’s all-white look. Taylor Townsend often highlights her firstborn as the primary source of inspiration and motivation in her professional tennis career.

“A lil movie for the people💙 ” Taylor Townsend shared the highlight from the birthday party.

“Thank you to everyone who made this birthday one for the books! I love you all❤️ ” – Townsend added to her post.

Taylor Townsend last competed at the 2026 Miami Open, where she and her partner Katerina Siniakova won the women’s doubles title. They defeated Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini 7-6(0), 6-1 in the final to complete the “Sunshine Double,” having also won the Indian Wells title just two weeks prior.

Taylor Townsend to face Katie Boulter in Madrid Open after facing defeat in the last three match-ups

Katie Boulter has defeated the American tennis champ in all three WTA events to date, with the last one a gruelling 6-4, 6-4 win at the China Open. If the British star manages to defeat Townsend for the fourth consecutive time, Boulter will then face the current World No. 5, Jessica Pegula, in the second round of the Madrid Open.

Townsend has been achieving big wins this year and seems to be in good shape, but she just ended up as a runner-up to Peyton Stearns at WTA Austin. Madrid Open will be the first clay-court event for the American star this year. Although Boulter has found success on clay, her 40-game record falls short in comparison to Townsend’s commanding 117-51 record.
